On Friday, the seventh grade students at Fretz Middle School began their new science unit. The students spend the day learning all about Maple Syrup. They participated in several activities from tapping trees, to boiling the sap, and taste testing. Our very own Mrs. Linda Confer-Wilcox who has her own sugar shack was on hand to explain the process. She also cooked every student a pancake with her syrup on top!
